Magic templates

A few template names are built into the engine — they work without any /template/ page existing. The names are case-insensitive.

Footnotes

You type	What it does
{{Note|Some source}}	A footnote — same as <ref>Some source</ref>
{{Note|name=src|Some source}}	A named footnote you can reuse
{{Note|name=src}}	Reuse a named footnote defined earlier
{{Reflist}} / {{Notelist}}	Map to <references />

The reference list is automatic

In this version the reference list is always appended at the bottom of the page whenever there's at least one footnote — so {{Reflist}} / <references /> don't actually control where it appears. See References & notes.
