Lists

Start a line with a list character:

:	Indented line (definition description)

Nest by stacking characters — and you can mix them (*#, #*, :*, …):

Definition lists

; marks a term and : its description. Put both on one line with a : separator, or on separate lines:

; HonoWiki : the engine
; Wikiglide : a wiki running on it

A : on its own simply indents a line.

TIP

A list ends at the first line that doesn't start with a list character — leave a blank line (or plain paragraph) to break out of it.
